For patients who are seeking results that surpass non-invasive procedures, but do not wish to undergo surgery, a solution can be found in a breakthrough micro-invasive treatment. Introducing ThermiTight™, the first aesthetic procedure that delivers controlled thermal energy under the skin to reverse the visible signs of aging. ThermiTight™ can address problem areas relating to excess fat and sagging and/or lax skin on the face, neck, torso, arms and thighs.
A professional consultation will determine your candidacy for a ThermiTight™ treatment. At Oakville Plastic Surgery, ThermiTight™ treatments are performed by Dr. Nancy de Kleer, plastic surgeon. The micro-invasive procedure usually takes less than one hour and involves minimal discomfort and downtime. The procedure entails the insertion of a tiny probe under the skin, wherein radiofrequency energy is applied directly to the targeted tissues in order to achieve the desired aesthetic outcome.
How It Works
The ThermiTight™ technology allows Dr. de Kleer to selectively heat specific tissues to therapeutic levels. The temperature can be set to reach the point at which connective tissues are regenerated, and fat tissue is coagulated and destroyed. This ultimately results in tighter skin, smoothed contours and refined shapes without surgical intervention.
