Dr. Nancy de Kleer

Founder & Director

Dr. Nancy de Kleer is the founder and director of Oakville Plastic Surgery and Advanced Skincare. A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. de Kleer has extensive training in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Dr. de Kleer is committed to Ontario healthcare. She attended undergrad at the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with honours. Earning her medical degree (honours) from the University of Toronto, Dr. de Kleer was accepted into the prestigious plastic and reconstructive surgery residency program and continued her medical training with the University of Toronto. Following her five-year surgical residency, Dr. de Kleer remained in Toronto working as a trauma surgeon at St. Michael’s Hospital before opening the doors of Oakville Plastic Surgery in 2005. I recently underwent a tummy tuck procedure with Dr de Kleer at Oakville Plastic Surgery.   I hesitated for years, always waiting for the right time which as you know turns into never!
The consultation process was efficient, staff took the time to answer all my questions. Dr de Kleer took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the procedure and ensure I felt confident every step of the way.
On the day of the surgery, the entire medical team was professional and supportive. They made sure I felt relaxed and well-informed before the procedure began.
Trust the process! Everyone heals differently.  I did have a reaction to the pain medication and a minor infection but thanks to the detailed instructions provided by Dr de Kleer and her team it was manageable and any questions or concerns I had post-surgery were promptly addressed by the attentive staff.
I am now 2 months post-surgery, I couldn't be happier with the results! Not only does my abdomen look more defined, but my confidence has soared.   Like I told the team at Oakville Plastic Surgery, “ I feel like a million bucks “ !!   The transformation is truly remarkable. Michelle was an absolute sweetheart! She was kind, friendly and personable - it felt like I had known her already even though I was meeting her for the first time. She was very knowledgeable and talked me through the BBL treatment beforehand, along with what to expect afterwards. She was also great at explaining what part of the process she was completing during the treatment and why, i.e., targeting different things and areas. I had an appointment for a minor surgical procedure with Dr. De Kleer, even though it was minor I was super nervous and feeling anxious. The team and especially Dr. De Kleer were so amazing they sensed I was nervous and talked to and did not pressure me to proceed. I am 8 weeks post-op from a “Fleur de Lis” tummy tuck and hernia repair. From the day of my consultation months ago till today, I have experienced nothing but the utmost professionalism and kindness and caring from every person associated with Oakville Plastic Surgery Clinic.  Dr. DeKleer has such empathy and compassion for her patients. I felt really cared for during this entire process. Last week I had both laser hair removal and a BBL treatment done at Oakville Plastic Surgery.
I advised them I was "new" to this whole world and wasn't really educated on the different options available to me. Michele is so well educated and was able to guide me through my options to achieve what I was looking for.
I just had a baby and I'm currently nursing. She knew immediately the cream options that I could and could not use for my after care.
She advised me of the sensitivity I may have due to being 4 weeks post partum. She also to me what to expect for results and what to do in different scenarios.
She kept checking to see how I was making out throughout the procedures and ensuring I was comfortable.
She truly has a wealth of knowledge  and is so sweet and kind. She walked me through every step of the procedure. Both procedures were virtually painless in my opinion. The results were beyond what I thought I would see after the first BBL treatment. My confidence is already boosted looking in the mirror and no longer seeing the age spots and discoloration that I had. I can not wait to see where a second treatment will take my skin.
The facility itself is super clean and everyone from the front desk staff to staff just walking by me were nothing but kind.
