We know these are uncertain times. We want you to know how much we prioritize your health, safety and well-being.
As of today, our office will be closed until further notice.
We've made this decision to ensure we are doing our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19 and protecting the well-being of our clients and our community.
As a doctor, your health remains my primary concern. In light of the recent circumstances, I am altering how I provide care to limit the spread of this virus as much as possible. Patients with emergent or urgent issues will still be seen, either by me or one of my partners. Please reach out at (905) 901-9545 or [email protected]. If I am not available, my staff will help direct you to one of my colleagues for your treatment.
For concerns of a less immediate nature, my staff will do their utmost to accommodate you as efficiently as possible while taking precautions to protect you against the unintentional spread of this virus. In some cases, we’ll be able to address your concerns by phone or video call. In other circumstances, face to face visits will be arranged but may need to be delayed until this threat is contained, depending on the urgency of your circumstances. We appreciate your understanding, as these measures are out of concern for your long-term health.
We will come through this challenging time together as a community, and my team is here to support you through it. My commitment remains to provide you with the best care I can to protect your health. Here at Oakville Plastic Surgery, we are looking forward to seeing you again in the future.
Dermal fillers, also known as injectable fillers are meant to help patients reduce or diminish facial lines, deep folds and other ill-defined features. Dermal fillers are a safe and quick way to restore volume and fullness for facial rejuvenation and an all around youthful appearance. Injectable fillers treatments are popular for plumping thin lips, enhancing shallow contours, softening facial wrinkles and creases, and decreasing or removing shadows and lines underneath the eye lids. Come visit us at Oakville Plastic Surgery and we will help you regain that youthful, natural, smooth skin you’ve been seeking.
Dermal Filler Injections are a non-invasive, quick procedure that is virtually painless for all patients. At Oakville Plastic Surgery, treatment sessions typically last about 30-60 minutes. The number of sessions varies across patients, but typically one session can be enough to restore your skin volume and fullness. Since the treatment is non-surgical, it involves no downtime and patients can return to work immediately.
Dermal Injections fill the soft tissue under the skin to improve the appearance of aging, wrinkling and sagging skin. Offering a unique application, your treatment will be customized to achieve optimal results based on your unique facial structures. Fillers not only ‘fill’ in wrinkles and impressions in the skin (such as hollows and scars), they also tighten and lift the surrounding skin. Treatments can last up to a year, after which, the filler is naturally metabolized by the body. Yearly follow-up treatments are recommended to maintain results.
After Dermal Filler Injections patients may experience some redness, mild swelling and minor bruising that can occur at the injection site. Recovery times vary between a few hours. Full results are realized after two weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long do dermal fillers in the lips last?
A. Lip fillers in particular last about 4-6 months. However, if your body is on the thinner side, you’ll metabolize the formula faster and the injections won’t last as long.
Q. How are dermal fillers different from BOTOX®?
A. Dermal fillers add volume to the face, whereas Botox® relaxes the muscles underneath the wrinkles to reduce their appearance. For example, dermal fillers are excellent for plumping thin lips, while Botox® is a good option for diminishing frown lines.
Q. Can a dermal filler treatment be reversed?
A. Absolutely, if required or desired, a special reversal agent called “hyaluronidase” can be injected to dissolve the filler.
