We’re grateful for Alyssa’s openness, honesty, and willingness to explore new treatments with us over the past few months. She’s been sharing her experiences- trying treatments like Baby BOTOX®, Medical Grade Peeks, CoolSculpting, IPL Treatment, Laser Hair Removal, and experiencing the difference in her skin using Medical Grade Skincare.
These treatments were personal for Alyssa, but these blogs provide an opportunity for all of us to think about the next steps in our own aesthetic journeys.

Let’s touch base about some of the treatments and procedures you tried out for the Prevention Series.
What changes have you noticed from your CoolSculpting® treatment?
The areas I had treated with CoolSculpting are now tighter, with less lax skin. I’ve also noticed that I don’t have as much cellulite!
Have you noticed any changes from your new skincare routine? How has your skin changed with medical-grade skincare? Alyssa used ZO® Skincare Products.
My skin looks and feels so smooth and hydrated now. I love that these minimal, consistent changes made to my routine have made such a difference in my skin. It’s been exciting to see that.
Alyssa’s new complexion as a result of a combination treatment consisting of Medical Grade peels, IPL and changing her skincare products from over the counter to ZO® Medical Grade skincare products.
Have you noticed any changes from your BOTOX® treatments?
ALL of my fine lines and wrinkles on my forehead are gone! My smile also isn’t as gummy as it used to be. It’s incredible!
What would you tell younger people who are looking into treatments?
This is a really important question. I’d say that outside of doing your research to find a reputable practice (like Oakville Plastic Surgery) to visit for these treatments, to absolutely go for it if it’s something you’ve been considering or wanted to look into. These treatments include some things I never thought I would do, and I’m so glad I did. I have more confidence in my appearance because my areas of concern are gone thanks to these procedures.
What did you learn from this experience that you weren’t expecting?
I learned that there are so many different ways to use BOTOX®. I knew Botox® worked for wrinkles but I didn’t know that you could use Botox® to help with gummy smiles and brow lifts. I also learned so much about skin care. For example; IPL helps with dark spots and can even out your complexion, but it also helps to shrink your pores.
What was your overall experience at Oakville Plastic Surgery like?
My overall experience with OPS was incredible. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The staff are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable, and the services were very thoroughly explained. I never left wondering or asking questions about anything.
What was the one takeaway you think is most valuable?
My biggest takeaway is the knowledge I now have about the various procedures that are possible and that OPS offers. I’ve also gained plenty of new confidence in myself, now that my areas of concern aren’t areas of concern anymore!
What would you recommend to people who are looking for a provider?
I would absolutely recommend Oakville Plastic Surgery. I looked forward to every visit I had, the team at OPS are so kind and welcoming! Michele always went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had about the procedures. The procedures were great as well! The results exceeded every expectation I had and helped give me great confidence in myself.

I would just like to thank everyone at Oakville Plastic Surgery for everything they’ve done for me over the past year and allowing me to be part of the Prevention Series.
