If you’re looking for a natural way to improve your skin’s texture, elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, look no further than Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for facial rejuvenation. Eclipse PRP® works with your body’s natural healing processes to repair and rejuvenate the skin.
The same technology used to treat hair loss effectively improves your skin’s health and appearance, restoring vitality from within. Here’s how it works.
The treatment.
The treatment involves the extraction of a small sample of your blood, which is then placed in a centrifuge to separate your red blood cells from your plasma. Using a small syringe, the concentrated Platelet-Rich Plasma is collected and injected into the areas being treated.
Now, we know what you’re thinking; anything involving needles and blood must be scary, right? Wrong. This treatment is anything but! The entire process typically takes less than an hour and involves minimal discomfort.
How it works.
Our plasma contains platelets that, once injected, release essential growth factors that promote collagen production, healing, and tissue repair, among other things. The treatment immediately gets to work rejuvenating the treated areas and producing a more radiant appearance.
What it treats.
PRP can effectively treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring and skin texture, dull or dry skin, surgical scars, and even stretch marks. Commonly treated areas include the face, the back of the hands, and the neck and décolleté. PRP can be a one-time treatment, but for optimal results, we may recommend a series of several treatments spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. Once your initial treatment series is complete, maintenance treatments may also be recommended every 9 to 12 months.
Recovery and results.
Since you’re using your own blood plasma, PRP is a totally safe and natural treatment, with no risk of allergic reaction. You may experience some swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection sites, but this usually resolves within a week and can be easily covered with makeup after the initial 24 hours post-treatment. The benefits of PRP are long-lasting.
