Ready for a new start?

Ready to give your skin a new beginning?

A new season is the perfect time to open the door to a new chapter. After months spent in the sun, we may notice discolouration or signs of aging as we head into autumn. Microneedling is a great treatment option if you’re looking to revive, rejuvenate or restore your skin without invasive treatments or procedures.

Why microneedling?

Our clients love microneedling because it’s a multitasking treatment that can treat several concerns in one treatment. We use SkinPen Microneedling which uses the body’s natural healing processes to trigger collagen production and rebuild skin from deep underneath the surface. Skin is restored and rebuilt over time for beautiful results. Microneedling fits easily into a busy schedule. Because it’s a non-surgical, quick treatment that doesn’t require downtime, it’s a great fit for those of us without room for lengthy recovery times.

How does microneedling work?

Tiny needles make micro-punctures as they roll over the skin to activate a wound-healing response. In the weeks following treatment, increased collagen and elastin production instruct the skin to heal and regenerate. Skin texture is improved, dull skin is revived and symptoms of rosacea and melasma are effectively treated.

Skin regeneration happens in three phases:

  • Microneedling Treatment

As the skin is pierced with tiny needles, your immune system springs into action to disinfect, increase blood flow, and regenerate tissue.

  • Rebuilding

Cell regeneration and blood vessel networks form, rebuilding and regenerating to replace dead skin cells and renew skin from the inside out.

  • Renewal

New tissues form as collagen production is accelerated, forming new structures and fresh dermal tissue following advanced cell turnover.

What could microneedling do for my skin?

 Microneedling benefits can include:

  • Addressing discolouration and other signs of sun damage or aging.
  • Improving dull skin or addressing uneven skin texture.
  • Softening and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Refined pores and healthier, more youthful-looking skin.
  • Treating acne scars, especially atrophic (depressed) scarring.
